What is a Multiplication Chart 1–12?
A Multiplication Chart 1–12 is a grid that shows the product of two numbers from 1 to 12. It is one of the most powerful learning tools for children in early grades. Instead of memorizing each multiplication fact separately, kids can use the chart to visually understand patterns and relationships between numbers.
Our interactive multiplication chart goes one step further — when you hover your mouse over any cell, it highlights the entire row and column, and instantly shows the multiplication result. This helps children understand how multiplication works, not just what the answer is.
Whether your child is in Grade 2, Grade 3, or Grade 4 — this free tool at KidsWorksheetLab is designed to make times table learning fast, fun, and stress-free!

💡 Parent & Teacher Tips for Learning Times Tables
Practice One Table at a Time
Don’t rush. Focus on one times table per week — start with 2s, 5s, and 10s as they are the easiest to remember. Slowly move to 3s, 4s, and then 6–9.
10 Minutes a Day is Enough
Short, daily sessions work better than long weekend cramming. Use the 1 Minute Test every morning or after school for best results.
Print the Blank Chart for Homework
Download the Blank Multiplication Chart PDF and ask your child to fill it in by memory. Check their answers using the Filled-In version. This is a great weekly exercise!
Make it a Game
Use the 1 Minute Test as a friendly competition — try to beat yesterday’s score! Kids love seeing their progress and this keeps them motivated to practice more.
Use the Chart to Spot Patterns
Point out patterns to your child — the 5 times table always ends in 0 or 5, the 9 times table digits always add up to 9. Patterns make memorization much easier!
